Emre Okten is a filmmaker from Istanbul based in Los Angeles. His animation work has been recognized by a Student Academy Award. Having worked around the globe, his films have screened in festivals such as Austin, Atlanta, Fantasia, Les Utopiales, !f Istanbul and many more. Most passionate about light and visual storytelling, he explores futuristic themes in a historical context. He currently works in virtual production, creating and figuring out the best ways of using cutting edge technology in aid of storytelling.
